Private Duty Nursing
Pediatric Private Duty Nursing, Inc. specializes in caring for children less than 25 years of age who meet the criteria for medical necessity with continuous care. We will develop a service care plan that is individualized to the needs of the child with the goal to support the child’s health and well-being while at home. Our staff may also conduct teaching for the caregiver or the parent in the aspect of properly attending to the needs of the child.
Private Duty Nursing Features
- Depending on the child’s health conditions, visits will be determined whether on an intermittent or regularly scheduled home visits by the Private Duty Nurse. Some medically-fragile children need close supervision and may require frequent visits as much as 4 in a given day. Other health conditions only need periodic home visits by the nurse every 2 months. Whatever the case may be with your child’s health, we will tailor a visiting schedule for private duty care that is attuned to the medical attention he or she requires.
- The pediatric home health care plan will be outlined by the physician and then endorsed to our team for implementation. We work under the direction of the physician over the course of the treatment and in the follow-up visits to ensure that the treatment objectives were met.
Emergency Care Visits
- As much as possible, Pediatric Private Duty Nursing, Inc. will provide 24/7 support to the child and the parents/guardian. We offer extended care to children who are in severely delicate conditions. When our staff is requested to make home visits for an emergency case, we immediately coordinate with the child’s physician and will conduct necessary interventions to ensure the health and well-being of the child until the next advice from the physician has been released.
